Trip to Saint Gits Engg college...

23rd october, was a usual day...boring lectures, sleeping , chatting n so n so...gave the least attention when our computer programming prof mentioned about an ISTE[Indian Society for Technical Education]all kerala students chapter being conducted at saint gits college of engg, near changanaasseri, kottayam...during the lunch break, i thought about the friday's upcoming materials testing lab exam...records, rough records, acclimatisation with machines, learning, preparing for viva....ooohhhhhhhhhhhhh.....2 more days n everything pending....wish i could skip this exam...

next day morning, one of my best friends, niranjan[munshi] came n said tat hes gonna participate because the college will award duty leave n hence he can skip the exam !!! i've never seen my bulb glowing like this...so during lunch break, went to collect more n more details about the events...i opted for technical debate after pairing with sivaprasad, another best buddy...the only amount we had to spent was 75[25 for bus fare n 50 for participating in the event] n will get free food n shelter for 2 days!!! that day evening 3.30 to 5.45, we had to spent in front of computer for sorting out people n their events...a total of 6 students from our class were going to take part in the event...munshi, siva, vishnu prasad[vp], nivil, nischal n me...after that munshi n i went to vinod's home for getting some GK books as munshi had opted for quiz...

25th october, '07...achan gave me a lift to the college n on the way, picked niranjan n his 2 hostelmates...the college bus started at 5:45...we guys prefered the last seats...Samad sir joined out team at Koratty...had our breakfast[velleppam n kurma] from perumbaavoor. also Mubarak sir joined our team from there...kottayam vare kathivechum vaayanokkiyum samayam kalanju...well letz not deviate...he he he...reached te college by 11am...nice college...good landscaping...well architected... well maintained n above all nice guys n gals...we enrolled ourselves for the competitions...me n siva for tech deabate, vp n munshi for quiz n mushi n nischal for network gaming...

prelims started n we did our best...the prelims for network gaming n quiz was fine but the one for tech debate was useless...they asked some Gk questions n that included from bible n such stuff...we lost all such questions as we don even know Bhagavat Geetha...there was no negative marking so wrote all sorts of garbage...when the results came,we all were deselected...our seniors got selected for quiz n also tech debate...but did well in tech debate n we were the runners up...actually we were happy for getting deselected...enjoyed the whole function...

NB: guys n gals...don forget to read bible n memorise it before going to a christian college for any sort of competition...

had our lunch n thereafter from 2:30 onwards te cultural programmes started...nice gals all around but couldnt do any "thenditharam" as we were sitting with teachers...the cultural programmes were too good...nice dances, songs n all...had our tea in between..elaichi tea, cake n uzhunnu vada...n that too absolutely free !!!meanwhile the ones who anchored, said that the upcoming event is a hot piece of dance from s3 gals...hearing te word "hot", the stadium was jam packed with boys...the dance began n everyone understood their standard...those people donno even the meaning of "hot"...kadumpottanmaar mannunnikal !!! the only thing which i didnt like was a damn useless fashion show n the pandemonium in the name of rock band[may be because i was sitting too close to the speakers]...after all such stuff, our ears almost lost its sensitivity...also phoned my friends frequently...

cultural programmes ended by 7:30... we then went to take dinner...chicken biriyani...fortunately there was veg biriyani too n i pushed my belly n mouth to its limits...after that we were taken to "cana councelling centre for family life prosperity" at thuruthy for our nights stay...while others played cards, i added a few lines to my diary...

26th october...we guys woke early n got ready for goin to the college n that too right on time !!! only because we all were driven by our bellies... started at 8 n had breakfast by 8:30...superb velleppam n kurma...again filled our tanks to full...todays main events were best manager[stress interview]...nivil n vp appeared n vp got selected in the final 10...4 out of 10 from our college...1st two rounds over n 5 were selected to advance....vp was in n also another senior...vp did well...he said pakka dialogues n double pakka dance for the song"omana pura kadapurathe omane..." but was unlucky as there was no awards for 2nd or 3rd...meanwhile our seniors took majority of the technical project presentation prizes...electrical n civil got 1st n mech n computer science got 2nd...also our college owned te maximum number of participants...n so a special prize for us...


had our lunch in between...nice sadya n adaprathaman...return trip started at 4:30 after tea...mushi left for his home yeasterday itself n many more were gone so lots of free seats...i went to te back seat n slept comfortably for almost 4 hrs...while others were singing songs n rocking...meanwhile opened our special prize n it was 2 SMALL BOWLS !!! of the size of ash trays...reached home near about 10 and te only extra luggage we had was particuipation certificates...that shows howmuch energy cautious we really are because if we bring more n more pizes, that will add weight to te bus an eventually its mileage will reduce...tats exactly te way a royal mech must think...

anyways i've learned tat some gals favour flirting n some don't but what a person must do is to select the right thing wat his heart says...
